"You can get all the help

you need"

Tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m Matty, I’m currently working for ONGO at The Arc, just finished my apprenticeship

in Business Administration at Level 2, and then I’m looking to start an advanced

apprenticeship standard as a Customer Service Specialist at Level 3.

I'm a full-time dad when I’m not working.

How would you describe your job role?

Greeting customers, answering the phone on a daily basis, dealing with room
bookings and
buffets, just generally helping people out on a daily basis.

What do you like most about your apprenticeship?

I like helping people out, I like the people I work with, I just like the job in general really, it's just a really good job.

Do you think this apprenticeship will help develop your career?

I feel like its already developed my career because I started off with no qualifications and now I'm about to pass an apprenticeship in Business Administration, I've got my Level 1 in English and Maths and now doing my Level 2 in English and Maths.

What advice would you give to someone who was thinking about doing an apprenticeship?

Definitely go for it, if you come out of school with no qualifications, you can get all the help you need, there’s a lot of advice, there’s a lot of training out there, and not only that, you get paid to work and get training at the same time.

What's it like?
